Description
The Hall County Library System is seeking proposals for E-Rate eligible Category 2 internal connections and basic maintenance of internal connections. The proposed equipment includes new firewalls, switches, and wireless access points to support both a new location and upgrades for existing library sites. The vendor must provide detailed pricing, service descriptions, and 3-year licensing renewals for the current Meraki environment or functional equivalents. The project's goal is to ensure that all networking equipment is reliable and up to date. Key requirements include:
• Providing a detailed description of the proposed equipment, including manufacturer, model numbers, specifications, and warranty information
• Demonstrating understanding and compliance with E-Rate rules and regulations for Category 2 services
• Providing a clear explanation of how the proposed equipment is eligible for E-Rate funding
• Including a statement acknowledging the Hall County Library System's right to select the most cost-effective proposal
• Providing at least three references, preferably in library or educational settings, and ideally with multi-location deployments
