Crane and Hoists Inspections Repair and Maintenance Services

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is seeking a contractor to perform annual inspections and preventive maintenance on approximately 196 overhead cranes/hoists at various WSSC facilities in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland. The contractor will be required to perform thorough annual inspections, provide lubrication, and perform emergency repair services as needed. The contractor will also be required to provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, and equipment for the performance and completion of the contract. Key aspects of the job include: • Annual inspections of hoisting machinery • Lubrication of all components requiring it • Emergency repair services on a time and material basis • Changing oil in cranes/hoists • Performing full-rated operational load tests on cranes and monorails The contractor will be required to provide all necessary resources, including service trucks, materials, and equipment, to complete the contract to the satisfaction of WSSC.
