NOI - Service and Maintenance of Glacios Microscope and components

The National Institute of Health (NIH) is seeking a contractor to provide service and maintenance for a Glacios microscope and its components. The contract will be for a 12-month period, starting on April 18, 2026, and ending on April 17, 2027. The contractor will be responsible for providing full coverage for OEM replacement parts, labor, and travel, as well as priority scheduling and onsite response for all repairs. The contractor must be an authorized service provider for the Glacios microscope and components. Some key requirements include: • Full coverage for OEM replacement parts, labor, and travel • Priority scheduling and onsite response for all repairs • OEM trained certified technician must be available during normal business hours • One preventive maintenance inspection to be performed during the 12-month period • 48-hour targeted response time for onsite applications support and emergency repairs • Unlimited service visits and telephone support during business hours. The NIH intends to award a contract to FEI Company, as they are the sole provider of maintenance for this equipment.
