Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance

The City of Lancaster is seeking a vendor to provide landscape maintenance and irrigation services for City-owned sites. The selected vendor will be responsible for maintaining medians and other areas, including routine landscape bed maintenance, chemical applications, mulching, irrigation system management, and on-demand landscape services. The contract is intended to be a performance-based agreement, with payment contingent upon verified completion of services and adherence to defined service levels, reporting requirements, and quality standards. Some key points about the job and scope of work include: • Routine landscape bed maintenance, including weed removal, trash removal, and pruning • Chemical applications, including pre-emergent and post-emergent treatments • Mulching, including bed preparation and maintenance of a consistent mulch depth • Irrigation management, including system monitoring, seasonal adjustments, and issue reporting • On-demand landscape services, including landscape design, tree planting, and seasonal color change-out The City is looking for a vendor with experience in municipal or commercial landscape maintenance, proper licensing, and proof of insurance. The proposal should include a cost proposal, availability and dedication to City of Lancaster projects, a proposed draft service schedule, and references.
