Welding Services

The Wicomico County Public Works Department is seeking bids for welding services, including on and off-site welding and fabricating. The successful vendor will provide all labor and equipment necessary to complete the work to the county's satisfaction. The vendor will supply all rods, grinding wheels, gas/oxygen, and other necessary materials, while the county will provide steel plates, tubing, bolts, nuts, and other like materials. The contract period will be from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027, with the option to extend for two additional terms. • The vendor must be licensed to perform work in the state of Maryland. • The vendor must have at least two years of experience in the field. • The vendor must be able to respond to individual work order requests within two calendar days. • The vendor must provide all necessary equipment, tools, and safety equipment. • The vendor must provide an estimate of time for project completion and sign in and out with office staff for every visit.
