Description
The Collier County is seeking a qualified contractor for a turnkey replacement of the existing fire alarm system at the facility located at 2885 Horseshoe Drive S, Naples, 34104. The project includes removal of the existing fire alarm panel, installation of a new addressable fire alarm control panel, replacement of associated initiating and notification devices, and replacement of outdoor tamper and flow switches. The contractor shall provide all engineering and design services required for this project, including field verification of existing conditions and infrastructure, preparation of fire alarm shop drawings and device layouts, and submission of drawings and calculations to AHJ for review and approval.
The key requirements of the project include:
• Providing a complete turnkey replacement of the existing fire detection and alarm system
• Bringing the system into compliance with current NFPA 72 standards
• Removing existing Simplex 4020 fire alarm control panel
• Installing new Silent Knight fire alarm control panel
• Replacing all initiating devices and notification appliances
• Replacing all outdoor tamper switches and water flow switches
• Providing a fully operational, code-compliant fire alarm system
• Coordinating final AHJ inspection and acceptance testing
• Providing project closeout documentation and owner training
