RTA Murfreesboro Park & Ride

The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is soliciting bids for the construction of a new park and ride facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The project will include approximately 70 parking spaces, pedestrian pathways, lighting, landscaping, and other essential amenities to support WeGo and Murfreesboro Transit Authorities' transit operations. The bid submission deadline is February 13, 2026, at 1:00pm. The project is funded by the Federal Transit Administration and the State of Tennessee. • The project requires compliance with the Davis Bacon Act and Buy America requirements. • The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the project bid. • The contractor must comply with the prompt payment and non-retention requirements of 49 C.F.R. § 26.29 (2025). • The contractor must report subcontractor payments monthly through the Agency's Business Diversity Management System. • The contractor must respond promptly to any Agency or USDOT requests for documentation verifying DBE engagement and payment practices. • The contractor must cooperate with any certification verification requests initiated by the TNUCP during the re-evaluation process.
