Restorative Justice Practitioners and Programs

The State of Colorado Judicial Department is seeking qualified Restorative Justice (RJ) practitioners and programs to deliver direct RJ services, including facilitation, technical assistance, and training, to 5-6 pilot Judicial District Probation Departments. The selected providers will work with individuals who have contributed to the Restorative Justice Cash Fund through court surcharges and the people they have harmed. The providers will be responsible for delivering high-quality RJ services, providing training and technical assistance to probation staff, and participating in a statewide Community of Practice. The contract term is expected to be three years with optional extensions. Key aspects of the job include: • Delivering direct RJ facilitation services for eligible adults and harmed parties • Providing practical, skills-based training and technical assistance to probation staff • Developing or strengthening local policies, procedures, and referral pathways for RJ • Participating in a statewide Community of Practice focused on shared learning and implementation support
