Description
The State of Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is seeking a single, fully assembled, black, powder‑coated Hook‑Lift Asphalt Patch Body to be mounted on its existing Stellar Industries Model 138‑18‑40 hook‑lift vehicle. The body must meet extensive hydraulic, heating, and ancillary equipment specifications, include comprehensive documentation, provide on‑site training, and carry a minimum two‑year warranty. Delivery is FOB Destination to ITD headquarters in Boise, with a desired lead time of 180 days after order receipt, and the contractor must supply proof of insurance and be an authorized distributor or the manufacturer.
• Fully assembled patch body with 6.25 cu yd hopper, hydraulic power unit (24 HP Kubota D1105 or equal), radiant oil heating system, and full suite of controls, lights, and accessories.
• Required documentation: service & parts manuals (PDF), parts list, electrical diagrams, and proof of authorized distributor/manufacturer status.
• Contractor obligations: 4‑hour on‑site training in Pocatello within 14 days of acceptance, 2‑year warranty covering parts, labor, travel, and freight, and insurance certificates within 5 business days of award.
• Delivery: FOB Destination to 3311 West State St, Boise, ID; delivery window Mon‑Thu 8 am‑3 pm, excluding state holidays; contractor responsible for unloading.
• Evaluation: lowest total cost among responsive and responsible bidders; no administrative fee applies.
