Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to perform periodic maintenance on a CT scanner at Travis Air Force Base. The contract will be for a base year and four possible option years. The contractor will be required to perform emergency troubleshooting visits and provide diagnostic and minor corrective actions. The government will award the contract to the responsible offeror with the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote.
• The CT scanner is a Comet (YXLON) Model: FF85, with serial number C.1210003140, manufactured in September 2021.
• The contractor will be required to provide two emergency troubleshooting visits per year.
• The response time for emergency troubleshooting visits will be coordinated on a case-by-case basis, but the contractor is expected to be on the worksite no later than 48 hours after an emergency request is placed.
