Description
The City of Valdez is seeking contractors for various building services, including general contracting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more. The city aims to streamline its professional services procurement and achieve competitive best value for small maintenance projects. Contractors must submit a completed Request for Quotes, along with required documents such as an Alaska Contractor License, Business License, and proof of insurance. Preference will be given to local contractors.
• The range of services includes general contracting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, facilities systems, overhead door services, glass services, elevators, boilers, etc.
• The city has over 80 facilities, many in need of minor or major renovations.
• Electronic files are preferred.
• Questions can be submitted by mail, phone, or email to Stanley Porritt, the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
• The city reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes.
