Description
The Royal Oak Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to provide gymnasium cooling/HVAC services for Royal Oak High School and Royal Oak Middle School. The scope of work includes the installation of new HVAC equipment, piping, and controls, as well as the removal of existing equipment. The contractor will be responsible for taking possession of pre-purchased equipment and storing it in a secure location. The project is expected to start on March 30, 2026, and be substantially completed by August 3, 2026.
• The contractor must provide a detailed list of exceptions to the RFP and/or contract, as well as evidence of their ability to provide adequate insurance coverages.
• The contractor must also demonstrate their understanding of and compliance with all regulatory laws, codes, and requirements applicable to the project.
• The contractor will be required to provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of their proposal, as well as a performance bond and payment bond if their proposal is accepted.
