Pest Control Services

Luzerne County is seeking proposals from qualified companies for Pest Control Services. The contract term is from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The services will include inspection and proper treatments for controlling various pests in various County Buildings and Area Agency on Aging’s Senior Centers. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the full treatment pest control services. Key responsibilities include responding to pest control issues within 24 hours, providing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for each of the chemicals used, and minimizing potential danger to people and damage to the premises. • The contract includes services for various County Buildings, including the Courthouse, Courthouse Annex, and Human Services building. • The contract also includes services for Area Agency on Aging’s Senior Centers. • The Contractor must be duly licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and provide pesticide applicators that have been properly trained and meet all applicable Federal and State regulations. • The Contractor must provide a list of chemicals intended to be used with the bid. • The County desires that the amount and toxicity of chemicals used shall be the minimum required for adequate pest control.
