This Sources Sought notice seeks market research on patient‑safety ceiling lifts for the White River Junction VA Medical Center. The government is gathering interest, capabilities, and qualifications of vendors who can supply, install, and support a suite of ceiling‑mounted hoists, linear tracks, lift supports, trainer modules, and related accessories. The effort includes removal of existing lifts, installation in 21 rooms, engineering design, and user training. No proposals are being requested at this stage; responses are limited to company information, socio‑economic status, manufacturing location, and proof of SAM registration.
• Quantity: 21 complete patient‑safety lift systems (including ceiling hoists, linear tracks, lift supports, trainer module, medium hanger bars, slings, and disposables).
• Technical requirements: ISO 10535:2021 compliance, aluminum 6063‑T6 tracks, load capacities of 550 lb or 825 lb, Wi‑Fi integration, battery‑powered (24 V NiMH), noise ≤60 dB(A), flame‑retardant housing.
• Services: Engineering calculations, installation, removal of 18 legacy lifts, weight testing, certification, and one‑time user training.
