The City of Boise seeks a qualified contractor to modernize Elevators 1 and 2 in Boise City Hall, providing a full‑scope upgrade that includes new traction gearless machines, electronic controllers, door operators, seismic upgrades, associated electrical and fire‑alarm modifications, and a one‑year warranty maintenance program covering all four elevators. The work must be performed sequentially to maintain building service, include demolition of existing equipment, coordination with existing building systems, and delivery of extensive as‑built documentation, testing, and training. • Modernize two existing passenger elevators (full mechanical, electrical, and control system replacement). • Provide associated electrical upgrades, fire‑alarm integration, and full‑coverage maintenance for all four elevators (including warranty service). • Deliver detailed submittals, as‑built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals, and on‑site training; comply with ASME A17.1, NEC, NFPA 72, and local codes. • Perform work within a phased schedule (≈ 160 days for Car 1, ≤ 343 days total) while maintaining building occupancy and meeting strict safety, security, and documentation requirements.
