Description
The Town of Milton is seeking qualified contractors to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, traffic control, and incidentals necessary for the removal and replacement of existing fire hydrants throughout the Town’s municipal water system as part of the 2026 Fire Hydrant Replacement Project. The selected contractor shall be responsible for installation, excavation, backfill, restoration, and all associated construction activities required to complete the work. The project includes the replacement of seven existing fire hydrants, with one being upgraded to a K-81 “I” Smart Hydrant. The contractor must demonstrate experience performing fire hydrant installations and replacements of similar size and scope, and must comply with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Replacement of seven existing fire hydrants

• Restoration of pavement, sidewalks, gravel shoulders, and lawn areas to pre-construction condition or better
