PRIDE Hangar B7504 - Ellsworth, AFB

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District (NWO) intends to negotiate a contract modification with Edman Bryan, LLC for repairing roof leaks associated with the PRIDE Hangar, B7504 located at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The existing contract does not include roof repair, and introducing full and open competition would further delay the project. The contractor will be responsible for repairing roof leaks, which have caused work stoppages, damage control efforts, and re-sequencing of tasks, all of which have negatively impacted the construction schedule. • The contract modification is associated with the PRIDE Hangar, B7504 located at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. • The existing contract includes work associated with mechanical equipment, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, and concrete. • The roof repair requirement falls outside the scope of Edman Bryan, LLC's current contract. • The project schedule cannot absorb the time required for a competitive procurement. • The contractor must have experience in military roof repair construction work, including bond-ability, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar construction services.
