Description
The Board of Education of St. Mary's County on behalf of St. Mary's County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Vendors to provide optical transport equipment to terminate various fiber connections in the SMCPS network utilizing Ciena 3924 Service Delivery Switches and Ciena 5164 Service Aggregation Switches, or equivalent hardware. Each solution proposed by the vendor must include any necessary accessories, perpetual licensing, support, and software management components bundled with the overall solution. Vendors may submit price proposals for deployment and installation services, to include full device configuration and project management.
• The contract will be awarded for a period of one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods.
• The labor and materials to be purchased in this solicitation are eligible for Federal Universal Service Fund E-Rate Program.
• Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
• The successful Contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances applicable to its activities and obligations under this contract.
