2330--NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - CFort Replacement

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to replace a destroyed Containerized Fold Out Rigid Shelter (CFORT) with a new unit from the original manufacturer, Elite Aluminum. The CFORT is a 3-room portable building with medical treatment capabilities and is used in response to emergency requests and natural disasters. The replacement unit will be a C-FORT 96 with a mobilizer and will have a self-standing generator for power. The estimated delivery time is 90 days, and the total cost of the unit will be $498,995.
