Description
The City of Salina is seeking qualified engineering consulting firms to replace three deteriorated culverts on Fairdale Road and develop a full design package. The scope includes hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, alternative evaluations, preparation of construction‑phase plans and specifications, assistance with easement acquisition, utility relocation coordination, and potential retaining‑wall work. The consultant must meet an aggressive schedule, delivering the final design by early April 2027 and supporting subsequent construction phases.
• Evaluate replacement alternatives and update 2008 drainage study data.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and produce detailed design drawings/specifications.
• Prepare easement exhibit packages, legal descriptions, and coordinate utility relocations.
• Provide recommendations for any required retaining‑wall modifications at no cost to adjacent property owners.
• Manage the project to meet the City’s timeline from notice to proceed (Nov 2026) through design completion (Apr 2027).
