Tire Recapping and Repair Services

The City of Columbia is seeking a contractor to provide tire recapping and repair services for the City's Public Works Department, Fleet Services Division. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and picking up tires, reviewing and agreeing to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements, and holding non-repairable tires for City pickup. The contract period will be for one year, with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The contractor must comply with all applicable codes, standards, and certifications, and must provide pricing for all line items as required. • The contractor must have experience in providing tire recapping and repair services. • The contractor must have the necessary certifications and licenses to perform the services. • The contractor must have a plan for performing the requirements specified in the RFP. • The contractor must provide information about their organization, including a brief company history and a list of current contracts/clients. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal laws and regulations, including those related to disadvantaged business enterprises and environmental protection.
