029-26 Basic Vehicle Electrical Training

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking a vendor to provide basic vehicle electrical training to ODOT mechanics. The training should cover the fundamentals of electricity, including safety, electrical fundamentals, basic physics, and circuit components. The vendor will be responsible for providing all training materials, instructor laptops, instructors, and travel expenses. The contract duration is 24 months, and the vendor will be required to provide training sessions for four consecutive days each week. The vendor must also provide a pilot session prior to the start of the training and make changes to the training materials and/or delivery method based on the results of the pilot session. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing basic instruction in the fundamentals of electricity * Demonstrating hands-on skills to perform moderately complex exercises * Providing training materials, instructor laptops, instructors, and travel expenses * Conducting training sessions for four consecutive days each week * Providing a pilot session prior to the start of the training * Making changes to the training materials and/or delivery method based on the results of the pilot session
