The National Cemeteries of the Alleghenies (NCOTA) is seeking a contractor to provide trash removal services for a period of five years, with a base year and four option years. The contractor will be responsible for collecting and disposing of non-hazardous waste, including trash and recyclables, from the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The contractor must provide factory new or newly refurbished dumpsters, collect and empty the dumpsters on a weekly basis, and transport and dispose of the waste in an environmentally safe manner. The contractor must also comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and maintain a safe and professional work environment. Key responsibilities include: • Providing dumpsters and collecting and disposing of non-hazardous waste • Complying with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations • Maintaining a safe and professional work environment • Coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to ensure that work activities do not disturb burial services • Ensuring that contractor personnel maintain a neat and professional appearance and exhibit absolute decorum and respect at all times
