Description
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in New Mexico is seeking to procure a repair of Tunnel 7. The project involves repairing damage to the tunnel caused by prior incidents, in accordance with government-provided designs and specifications. The contractor will be responsible for providing support during testing activities and safing after each test. The project requires a high level of technical expertise and experience in construction, particularly in tunnel repair and instrumentation.
• The contractor must have experience working in a highly technical range testing environment, specifically at WSMR and with similar tunnel and crater projects.
• The contractor must be able to provide a quality control plan and adhere to strict safety protocols.
• The contractor must be able to work with government-owned equipment and follow specific guidelines for instrumentation support.
• The contractor must be able to manage storm water infiltration and air quality, and provide mine rescue crew for the duration of underground work.
