Countywide Fiberoptic Transport Network Refresh

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a qualified respondent to design and replace a new Transport Network Solution, including the core transport network, edge devices, and other required service equipment. The new transport network should allow layer 1/2/3 circuits to be built on top. The scope of services includes providing all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills, and incidentals required for the project. Key points to consider: • The County maintains a routed Ethernet network on top of the transport network. • The new transport network should be compatible with the existing network. • Vendors must submit their sealed bids electronically or by hand-delivery to the Procurement Management Director's office prior to the deadline. • Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted electronically through the County's official posting site. • The County may not accept incomplete responses, and submissions containing corrupted or inaccessible documents may be disqualified.
