Active Quantitative Investment Management Services

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is seeking information from interested and qualified offerors regarding active quantitative investment management services. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather feedback and industry insights to assist in refining the requirement, validating acquisition assumptions, and determining the appropriate acquisition strategy. The RFI includes questions about contract types, contract lengths, and information security standards. • The RFI is for planning and market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation in the future. • The PBGC is considering a “fixed rate variable quantity” contract type for this investment management contract. • The RFI asks about typical contract lengths for investment management services and whether a contract length of five or ten years would influence the decision to submit a proposal. • The RFI also asks about information security standards utilized by the firm, such as NIST or ISO.
