Spray-On Protective Coating Application and Repair Services

The City of Pasadena is seeking a qualified vendor to provide spray-on protective coating application and repair services for City-owned vehicles, trucks, equipment, components, and related surfaces on an as-needed basis. The selected vendor will be required to provide surface preparation and coating application in accordance with manufacturer standards. The contract is scheduled to start on August 25, 2026, and end on June 30, 2027. The City is looking for a vendor that can provide consistent, high-quality application services to ensure long-term durability and performance. Some of the key services include: • Surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and masking • Application of spray-on protective coatings • Coating of truck beds and other applicable surfaces • Inspection and finishing of applied coatings • Touch-up and repair of existing coatings, as needed The City requires the vendor to have relevant experience providing spray-on protective coating application and repair services for vehicles, trucks, fleet equipment, commercial equipment, or similar applications.
