The Port Authority of Allegheny County seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive hazardous and non‑hazardous waste removal, transport, treatment, and disposal services for a two‑year period. The work includes collection of various waste streams from multiple transit facilities, provision of over‑pack containers, metal and plastic drums, and laboratory‑pack supplies, as well as a $5,000 per‑year laboratory‑service line item for sample analysis. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder who can cover all 28 line items; no split awards are permitted.
• 75 non‑hazardous liquid drums, 15 non‑hazardous solid drums, and several hazardous waste categories (antifreeze, combustible, corrosive, flammable) per year.
• Provision of 10 over‑pack containers, 20 metal drums, 5 plastic drums, and assorted lab‑pack containers each year.
• Mandatory insurance coverage, de‑barment and lobbying certifications, and electronic‑only bid submission.
