Description
The Summit County Government is seeking a qualified general contractor to manage and execute interior renovation work for the South Branch Library in Breckenridge, CO. The project focuses on refreshing the library’s “J” and “E” rooms, including demolition, furniture salvage, new flooring, painting, cabinetry, sink replacement, and coordination of subcontracted flooring and cabinetry trades. Work must be completed within a one‑month window, with a maximum two‑week construction impact period, and will require performance/bond guarantees for proposals over $50,000.
• Manage interior demolition, removal, and salvage of existing library elements (bookshelves, furniture, tree sculpture).
• Coordinate subcontractors: Acierno & Company (flooring) and Earthwoods Custom Cabinetry (cabinetry).
• Install new carpet, rubber flooring, replace utility sink, paint, and install new furniture as per design plans.
