Medical / RX Stop Loss

The City of Georgetown is seeking proposals from qualified and reliable insurance carriers and administrators to provide Medical / RX Stop Loss Insurance. The successful proposer must meet all requirements of this RFP, maintain proper licensing, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and mandates applicable to the services specified in this RFP. The City is seeking proposals for specific and aggregate stop loss protection for medical and prescription claims to the policyholder for a catastrophic loss per individual claimant with an attachment point of $150,000 and unlimited specific and $1,000,000 aggregate maximum. Key aspects of the proposal include: * Providing Medical / RX Stop Loss Insurance * Maintaining a rating financially sound with an AM Best rating of A- or higher * Implementing the plan with an effective date of January 1, 2026 * Providing specific stop loss protection to the policyholder for a catastrophic loss per individual claimant with an attachment point of $150,000 and unlimited maximum * Providing aggregate stop loss protection with a maximum of $1,000,000 * Complying with all federal, state, and local laws and mandates applicable to the services specified in this RFP
