Air Gases

The US Government, Special Operations Command (SOCOM), is conducting market research to determine industries' capability and interest in providing various air gases in Virginia Beach, VA. The required gases include Aviator's Breathing Oxygen, Helium-Oxygen Mix, Nitrogen, Argon, Acetylene, and others. Vendors must be capable of providing gas refills, certification paperwork, and maintenance and testing of compressed gas cylinders. They must also be able to provide a logistics plan for pickup and delivery of gas cylinders and have the capacity to maintain a specified number of cylinders at the Portsmouth facility. Some of the key requirements include: • Providing gas refills of the required gases to the specified military and commercial standards • Maintaining and testing of compressed gas cylinders • Pickup and delivery of gas cylinders within a turnaround time of one week • Disposal of condemned compressed gas cylinders in accordance with applicable regulations • Providing customer support during and after the procurement process
