Description
The City of Apache Junction is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of pre-coated chip as needed by the Public Works Department for pavement preservation chip seal operations. The contract term is five years, and the estimated quantity is approximately 2,000 tons of 3/8” Low Volume Pre-Coated Chip per year. The contractor will be responsible for staging and delivering the chips to designated locations within the city limits.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Supplying pre-coated chip for pavement preservation chip seal operations
• Staging and delivering chips to designated locations within the city limits
• Complying with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances, regulations, and safety standards
• Providing labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the proper execution and completion of the work
• Maintaining records of labor, payroll, and other costs pertaining to the contract for at least two years after expiration of the agreement
