Description
The City of Salem is seeking bids for the renovation of the kitchen at the Community Life Center. The project includes the renovation of the kitchen and related facilities. Bidders must submit a completed bid form, certification of good faith, tax compliance certification, and other required documents. The contract will be awarded to the responsible and eligible bidder with the lowest price. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interests of the City.
• The bid must include a completed ‘Bid Pricing Form’ and a certification of good faith.
• The bidder must provide a statement of work he/she has done of a character similar to that of the work included in the proposed contract and give references.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and ordinances.
• The bidder must provide insurance coverage, including workers' compensation, general liability, and automotive insurance.
• The bidder must submit a payment bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract price.
