MSP RFP for municipal IT cybersecurity and infrastructure services

The Town of Ipswich is seeking a Managed Service Provider (MSP) to deliver comprehensive municipal IT services, including help desk, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management. The selected MSP will provide fully managed IT services, including help desk support, cybersecurity, network management, and strategic IT planning. The contract term is one year from contract execution, with an estimated annual budget of $200,000 to $250,000. Key requirements include: • Providing help desk support for all users • Implementing a cybersecurity stack, including endpoint detection and response, 24/7 monitoring, email security, and multi-factor authentication • Managing the town's network and servers • Providing strategic IT planning and support • Conducting an identity and environment cleanup, including normalizing Active Directory and aligning M365 licensing The town is looking for an MSP with experience in providing similar services to municipal governments, and the selected provider will be required to meet certain service levels, including critical, high, and standard response times.
