Description

The City of Orlando is seeking a comprehensive solution from qualified firms to provide Red-Light Camera Traffic Infraction Detector Systems for approaches at City designated intersections controlled by Traffic Signals. The selected Proposer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of the RLCTID Systems, and for providing the related software and services. The City currently operates a network of 45 RLCTID System approaches at 25 intersections, but is adding 55 new intersections for monitoring by RLCTID Systems. Key aspects of the job include: * Inheriting existing RLCTID System networks and installing new RLCTID Systems at locations with heightened traffic safety risk * Providing Front-of-the-Office operational support services, while the City is responsible for Back-Office operations * Replacing or buying out existing RLCTID Systems and/or equipment from the City's incumbent Contractor * Maintaining an accessible web portal for payment of outstanding notices of violation or citations * Providing data access via a secure website to the City for review and authorization of citations and Uniform Traffic Citations * Meeting specific technical requirements for the RLCTID System, including video and image quality, metadata, and data storage.

Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $15,000,000

The budget for this contract is likely to be substantial, given the scope of the project and the number of intersections involved. A rough estimate could be in the range of $5 million to $15 million, considering the cost of equipment, installation, and maintenance over the 5-year contract term. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the system, the number of intersections, and the level of technical support required.
