The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified, 100 % Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to correct fire and life‑safety deficiencies at the Hampton VA Medical Center. The work includes demolition, construction, electrical, fire‑alarm and sprinkler upgrades, installation of handrails, doors, fire extinguishers, and related modifications across multiple buildings, both on‑ and off‑campus. The contract value is estimated between $2 M and $7 M, with a performance period of 365 calendar days. All proposals must be submitted electronically by September 21, 2026. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 27, 2026. The solicitation is set‑aside for SDVOSBs and requires SAM registration and VetCert verification.
