RFB 2026-19 Confined Space Prop Project

The City of North Port is seeking a contractor to construct a confined space/trench prop adjacent to the existing Fire Training Tower. The project involves the construction of a +/- 2,000 SF confined space training facility using Owner-supplied connex boxes. The contractor will be responsible for grading, final placement of the connex boxes, decking, and all other required materials. • The contractor must provide a firm bid unit price for furnishing all necessary materials and completing all work, including labor, transportation, supervision, electricity, water, equipment, startup, testing, training, and all other work needed for a complete and operational system. • The contractor must comply with all Federal, State, Local Laws and Ordinances that affect the contract. • The contractor must provide and maintain sanitary facilities for employees as required by local and state boards of health. • The contractor must comply with the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control and Devices (NCUTCD) standards established by the Federal Highway Commission and the FY2026 (or most current) FDOT Standards for Traffic Control Through Work Zones.
