D--Notice of Intent to Sole Source for ANSYS Technology Pool Software

The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Synopsys+Ansys for the purchase of annual ANSYS Technology Pool Software. The software will be used for simulation geometry creation, meshing, running simulations, and post-processing results. Other ANSYS tools included in the renewal will allow development and post-processing of digital twins for coal utilization and cyber security.
