Request for Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk - Meredith Middle School & Hoover High School Renovations

The Des Moines Independent Community School District is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the renovation of Meredith Middle School and Hoover High School. The project involves phased renovations to convert the complex into a DMPS STEAM-focused Signature School campus. The estimated project budget is $18,000,000-$20,000,000, and the project is expected to last 24 months. The CMAR will provide pre-construction, construction, and post-construction services, including pricing, phasing, and constructability reviews, pre-construction activities, and solicitation of subcontractors. • The project requires a CMAR with experience in similar projects and a strong understanding of the local market. • The CMAR will work closely with the District and the Architect/Engineer to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. • The project involves multiple phases, including construction commencement, substantial completion, and final completion. • The CMAR will be responsible for managing the project schedule, budget, and quality control. • The project requires a high level of safety and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
