Notice of Intent to Sole Source Nephrology Services at Blackfeet Service Unit

The Indian Health Service (IHS) Billings Area office (BAO) is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for Nephrology staffing services to the Blackfeet Service Unit (BFSU) in Browning, MT. The contract will be awarded to Great Falls Nephrology Associates, P.C. The period of performance is from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026. The services are required to provide continuity of patient care while a long-term contract is contemplated. • The contract is for a base period of 6 months. • The estimated total value is below the simplified acquisition threshold. • The sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis. • Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
