Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide Sodium Chloride for a one-time fill in District 7 and District 8. The vendor must deliver the specified quantity to the designated storage locations by November 30, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest price. The vendor must comply with all terms and conditions stated in the solicitation, including providing insurance coverage and maintaining a Kentucky workers' compensation policy.
• The vendor must deliver 19,000 tons of Sodium Chloride to District 7 and 10,000 tons to District 8.
• The vendor must provide a signed certification stating compliance with all requirements.
• The vendor must notify the Department of the trucking firm that will be delivering the salt and provide contact information.
• The vendor must deliver the salt during normal business hours, excluding authorized state holidays.
• The vendor must provide evidence of insurance coverage, including commercial general liability insurance and automobile liability insurance.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies related to this procurement.
