Description
The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is seeking qualified vendors to repair a leaking hydraulic cylinder on a bus lift, including disassembly, shop repair, and re‑installation at the facility. The scope covers travel to the site, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, removal of the cylinder, full shop‑based overhaul (cleaning, inspection, honing, resealing, testing), and return‑to‑service installation with functional verification. Vendors must provide a total cost proposal and estimated timelines for removal, installation, project completion, and total downtime; any additional damage discovered must be quoted separately.
• Remove and transport the leaking cylinder for full shop repair.
• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, re‑sealing, reassembly, and functional testing of the hydraulic cylinder.
• Re‑install the repaired cylinder, reconnect all hydraulic and cable components, and verify leak‑free operation.
