Description
The Millersville Park Site Development project involves the construction of five multi-purpose grass fields, a parking lot, utility services, and a walking path. The scope of work includes site demolition, field survey, erosion and sediment control, grading, drainage, storm water management, paving, landscaping, irrigation systems, electrical systems, parking lot lighting, and improvements to the park entrance. Bidders must perform 51% of the work with their own forces and are encouraged to include MBE/WBE subcontractors. The project has a cost range of above $3,000,000 and is expected to be completed within 365 calendar days.
• The project involves renovation and improvements adjacent to multiple active County facilities.
• The contractor's typical working hours shall be 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Work will not be permitted on Sundays or on County observed holidays unless written approval is obtained from the Engineer.
• The contractor is urged to implement appropriate safety measures due to the proximity of the project site to Millersville Elementary School.
