The City of Fairbanks is seeking a qualified, licensed child‑care provider to lease a 3,506 sq ft renovated space within City Hall and operate on‑site child‑care services for municipal employees. The provider will be responsible for staffing, programming, custodial upkeep, licensing compliance, and fee transparency while the City supplies the facility, utilities, and basic infrastructure. The contract is a minimum five‑year lease with an option for month‑to‑month extension after the initial term.
• Provide full‑time on‑site child‑care (≈ 40 children, ages 6 weeks‑school age) operating 6:30 AM‑7:30 PM, Monday‑Friday.
• Lease and maintain the City‑provided space, including cleaning, safety, and minor repairs.
• Meet Alaska licensing, staff‑to‑child ratios, background‑check, CPR/first‑aid, and reporting requirements; publish parent fees on the City website with CPI‑based adjustments only.
• Submit a sealed, paper proposal (max 20 pages) by Jan 24, 2025 10:00 AM, including a signed acknowledgment of the two addenda and attendance at the mandatory on‑site meeting on Jan 10, 2025.
