Description
The State of California’s Department of Cannabis Control is seeking a cloud‑based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to replace its current platform. The award will be a fixed‑price SaaS solution with implementation services, covering full sample lifecycle, instrument integration, regulatory reporting, and ongoing maintenance. The contract’s base term is two years with optional extensions up to five years total, and a ceiling value of $760,000.
• Deliver a SaaS LIMS platform (baseline 20 users, optional growth tiers) with full configuration, data migration, and integration to lab instruments (HPLC, LC‑MS/MS, GC‑MS, ICP‑MS, qPCR, etc.).
• Provide implementation services, training, testing, and a 45‑day acceptance period, followed by maintenance and operations support.
• Meet strict California security, accessibility (WCAG 2.0), and compliance requirements (ISO‑17025, CLIA, CAP, FDA, DCC).
• Supply documentation, source‑code escrow, and transition‑out plans; optional annual extensions for licensing and support are available.
