Description
The Metropolitan Council of Minnesota is seeking a qualified firm to design, fabricate, deliver, install, and commission an adjustable, modular roof‑top maintenance platform for its transit bus fleet. The platform must provide safe, ergonomic access to bus rooflines for inspection, cleaning, repair, and other maintenance activities, and the contractor must be capable of delivering a complete life‑cycle solution, from engineering design through final commissioning. The contract will require verification that any subcontractors are not debarred or suspended under state or federal procurement rules.
• Full‑service scope: engineering design, custom metal fabrication, delivery, on‑bus installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Must meet safety standards for elevated work on moving vehicles and be modular to fit various bus models.
• Contractor must manage all procurement compliance, including debarment checks on subcontractors, and adhere to Minnesota state procurement regulations.
