Town Fountain and Splash Pad Maintenance Services

The Town of Los Gatos is seeking a qualified contractor to provide routine maintenance services for the decorative fountain at Los Gatos Town Hall and the public splash pad at Plaza Park. The selected contractor will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, including water chemistry testing, mechanical inspections, and reporting requirements. The contractor must have experience performing similar work and must hold a C-53 License and have staff certified in Confined Space Entry. The contract term is for five years, starting in July 2026, with no option to renew. • Daily tasks include water chemistry testing and recording, reservoir and water level verification, and circulation and mechanical inspection. • Weekly tasks include comprehensive system inspection, filter maintenance, and surface and spray feature inspection. • Monthly tasks include detailed equipment review and deep cleaning. • Quarterly tasks include sensor and controller maintenance and motor maintenance. • The contractor must provide weekly written reports to the Town, including chemical readings, equipment observations, and any repairs needed. • The contractor must also maintain chemical and maintenance logs for a minimum period required by Santa Clara County and provide copies to the Town upon request.
