Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

The contract is for a full building lead‑abatement, historic‑contents handling, and finish restoration of a medium‑sized museum. Comparable municipal lead‑abatement projects of this scope typically range from $200 k to $500 k, depending on the extent of hazardous material, the volume of collections to be stored, and the level of finish work required. Factors influencing the final amount include the number of square feet requiring abatement, the complexity of historic‑preservation finish work, and the cost of climate‑controlled storage units.
