Description
The Lorain County Detention Home is seeking a provider for complete food service, including compliance with all applicable standards as specified in the invitation to bid document. The selected provider will be responsible for providing food service to the detention home and facilities. A mandatory onsite walk-through is required on April 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The complete official invitation to bid documents and specifications can be obtained by contacting Jessica Burns, Fiscal Administrator.
• The proposal must include a bid guaranty and contract bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code.
• The bid security must be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
• The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, and "Lorain County Detention Home Food Service Proposal."
• The County assumes no responsibility for proposals forwarded by mail, and late bids will not be accepted.
