Request for Information (RFI) for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Model Access Services

The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking industry feedback to refine the scope, structure, and solicitation approach for its anticipated acquisition of Artificial Intelligence (AI) model access services. The primary objective is to establish direct contractual relationships with frontier AI and Large Language Model (LLM) developers, providing timely access to rapidly evolving AI capabilities. The department intends to use a token-based procurement approach, with a standardized token measurement and pricing framework. The contract is expected to have a base year with up to four option years.
